Admit Card Details
Candidates who applied through the Assam
Police Common Application Portal (APCAP) must download their admit cards from
the official web portal starting 23 December 2024.
Steps to Download Admit Card
1. Visit the official portal linked in the
'Important Links' section below.
2. Log in using your Application Number,
Name, and Date of Birth.
3. Download and print the admit card for
the examination.

Selection Process
1. Preliminary Document Verification
Candidates must present original documents,
such as caste certificates and educational qualifications. Photocopies should
be self-attested.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
Measurement of height, weight, and chest
(for males) using modern equipment. Medical checks for physical fitness issues
like knock knees, flat feet, and color blindness.
3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Race:
- Males: 3,200m in 14 minutes
- Females: 1,600m in 8 minutes
Long Jump:
- Males: Minimum 335 cm (3 attempts)
- Females: Minimum 244 cm (3 attempts)
Chin-Ups (for Constable AB): Marks are
awarded based on the number of successful chin-ups, ranging from 10 marks (4
chin-ups) to 20 marks (14 chin-ups).
4. Written Test
The written test will comprise 100
multiple-choice questions to be marked on an OMR answer sheet. Each correct
answer will earn the candidate half a mark. The total marks for the written
test will be 50, and there will be no negative marks.
