The Government of Assam has constituted a commission called Assam Direct Recruitment

Commission to carry out the recruitment process of Group C and Group D posts of various departments. This commission has been formed to fulfil the guarantee of 1 lakh jobs provided by the current Chief Minister of Assam. Candidates who have submitted their online application for 26,441 posts of Assam Direct Recruitment will have to appear in the recruitment based exams. The admit cards for Assam direct recruitment will be issued a few days before the exam and candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official websites.
